Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
1. Data we collect
To run AURA we collect the minimum we need:
- Account info: email, username, display name, password (stored as a one-way hash — we never see your password).
- Profile content: bio, city, avatar photo, achievements you submit, and your AURA score.
- Evidence uploads: photos or documents you attach to achievement submissions for verification.
- Technical: basic server logs (IP, browser) for security and abuse prevention.
2. Our evidence deletion promise
Evidence files are deleted permanently immediately after our team finishes reviewing your submission. They are not archived, not backed up, not used for training, and never shared with anyone. The review is the only purpose they ever serve — once it's done, they're gone.
3. How we use your data
Your public profile, achievements, and score are visible to anyone (that's the point of AURA). Your email is used only for account verification, password resets, and important service messages. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for marketing without your consent.
4. What we never do
- Never sell or rent your personal information.
- Never keep your evidence files after review.
- Never read your private messages (there are none — but if there were, we wouldn't).
5. Your rights
You can edit your profile anytime in Settings. You can delete your account anytime in Settings — this permanently erases your profile, achievements, and personal data from our systems. To request a copy of your data or ask questions, email support@aurascore.site.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, hashed passwords) to protect your data. No system is perfect — if a breach ever affects you, we'll tell you.
7. Children
AURA is not for children under 13. If we learn a child under 13 has an account, we delete it.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Significant changes will be announced on the site. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
